55 last summer... sh*t.. I hate my age...

I would have thought as comfortable as you seem to be with yourself, your age wouldn't be an issue, and that you would embrace your age.

Only WF, James and TC really understood my post.

The next day, I went to her and excuse myself for the joke, thinking I had hurt her.. she assured me she wasn't mad, and we hugged. She said she wasn't mad (but I think she was.. at her husband)... for being a little too friendly with me.

We exchanged emails yesterday.. she wants to come and visit me some time...

I know we will keep in touch.

Thank you, Lizzie.

Does this woman know you have a hobby of sleeping with MM? :D

Does she know its your part time job might be a more accurate question.

Well, in my case that did not work at all. I not only brought them together (found her and his family) but was close to her as well.....did not stop her at all ! She was being nice to my face and talking very badly about me and very DIRTY to my H......

That's what makes this good advice though. Here you have one telling you what prevented her. Marriage is a battle- you and me against the world- and here is the 'enemy' exposing a weakness. Those of you who can benifit from this take note.

Not to be mean but you will have to retire soon.

No matter how good you look....... guys have an age thing.

I don't think so.. hahaha

Guys do NOT have an age thing.. I'm the living proof... you have nooo idea how easy it is to have much younger men...

Are you out of your mind.. of course not...

Do you think I go bragging about it.. She knew I like younger men.. and she knew about my fling over there.. but we didn't talk about it.

Ha ha ha you're too funny... Do you think people go out and brag about their flings, their affairs, etc... I don't think so... why would it be different with me? heh???

I understand that, and you're right, most people don't care to get up in the years. However, I was meaning since guys turn their heads as you say to look at you, and you seem to come across as really confident, I just figured you viewed as age as just a number and it didn't bother you to much.

I can say also from experience that all of my secretaries...errr, excuse me, administrative assistants (one almost shot me for calling her my secretary :D ), had a different relationship with ME after they met my wife. One of the things I did was introduce each one when I hired them simply so my wife knew them.

All of them changed after meeting her. Instead of considering me a guy as their boss...and who knows what else, they considered me HER husband and they now were a "spy" for her. No kidding, all felt SHE was their friend, and I had better not betray her! So why did I do that everytime to myself? It WAS a good deterrent for me.

Liz come on once you reach 60 - that fact is going to take some polish of the chrome...... no matter how much chrome you got.

I only say this because you are a "tell it the way it is person on LS" and I got to say I wondered how old you were and how long this lifestyle could last for you.

Your selection will certainly be limited once you surpass a certain age. The world is in love with youth.... more so in your field/hobby/ whatever you call it.

There are many younger Lizzies out there.

You don't go out in RL, and brag about your flings and affairs because you do it here.

cj, this advice is only assuming the potential OW has an ounce of dignity and self respect. If that is not the case, then there was no 'weakness'(which is actually a strength) to exploit. But, even in that case, the tactic would allow you more chances to CATCH them, wouldn't it?

Ahhh, but there is really only ONE Lizzie! :bunny:

Age will matter at some point only in the sense that the "young" men you attract will not be as young anymore.

I am now picturing Lizzie as a resident of the Old Folks' Home. :lmao: Those nurses will be chasing after her all day long...as will those grumpy old men. :D

Perhaps that is why she dated the old nurse guy to see what the future holds? :p

Do widowers count like MM do?

Well I hate my age..but I can't say that it bothers me that much... I get men in their 20s as much as I want... no problem there...

But I am realistic and I know that I only have a few years left... and then gravity and signs of age will eventually show..

I am blessed with good genes.. so I enjoy the time (every second) I have left.. ;)

I agree, I just posted in response to JackJack.. I know I will eventually fade and disappear like most older people do.. I am very realistic about that... but I am enjoying it while it last.. if it last another 2 years fine.. another 5.. it's even better... I just live my life one day at a time and fully. ;)

Do any of you guys go out in RL and tell everything you post on here.. I doubt it... :p

I use this forum as everyone else is entitled to use it...right?

Trust me, Lizzie is there in spirit, if not in person. So are quite a few octogenarian widowers who are more than happy with the 'social scene'. They stay quite randy right to the end if they can. And, who can blame them?

I don't think it counts if they are widowers!

MM are the goal - right? easier, nothing to deal with then.

:o

Some scrappy ole granny is going to run you down with her little rascal scooter when she catches you messin' with her "old" man. :lmao:

Well, I for one, am glad to hear this sort of thing.

Especially since another poster (male) on another thread just said exactly the opposite...

Honestly.

Sometimes I get pretty confused about the whole deal. I would think if you take care of yourself, and stay fit/healthy, have an attractive personality, etc, that there would be available men no matter what age you are (as a woman). I would think the same would hold true for men, as well. But I guess some men (other poster) are only interested in younger women? Maybe so, but seems pretty limiting to me.

Anyway, I think Betrayed is right. Wives should take heed any advice that comes from an OW. What's the saying? "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer...."
