He then came back. But this morning has text to say that she now wants him back. [/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Tahoma][sIZE=2][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Tahoma][sIZE=2]His excuse - that he's away in Afghanistan and wants to spend as much time as he can with his child (which is fair enough) but he doesnt love her [/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Tahoma][sIZE=2][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Tahoma][sIZE=2]So me normally being such a softy have actually turned around and told him 'Not to play the bairn card with me - its not fair'[/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Tahoma][sIZE=2][/sIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Tahoma][sIZE=2]So now how do I go about building myself up again, im so god damn upset now - walked out of my job today and i have no direction to head into [/sIZE][/FONT] [/FONT]

I don't blame you for being upset, being with you and pining for his ex was selfish and mean. You know you're worth more than that, you deserve some one who will be devoted to you and ONLY you. Take pride in standing up for yourself, good for you! But now instead of taking on his crap you get to focus on you from now on. That's your direction, what YOU want in life. Given time, you'll be over all this and thankful you're not dealing with it anymore.

But you can guarantee he will feel his own pain in his own time. But you needn't concern yourself with that. He has his own hole he's climbing out of that he made. When will the sun shine ahead? Well who can say? But it gives you something to look forward to.

sandflea Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 I'll bet you that things are MUCH better when the weather starts to warm up. Give it a few weeks, maybe a couple of months - but try to see yourself as the master of your new life now. It can be very liberating... Hang in there. SF

Hes always gonna have that little something with the other, and have the child as an excuse..... Forget him and get a man with no offspring and then make some of your own with him....
