NC377 Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Just a quick question. What does it mean when you are talking to a guy and he says, "If you want to get together some time, your friend has my number. You can call me if you want." Was at a party the other week and this came up. He said it during the night and again when he said bye to me. Should I bother? Some have said yes and some have said no. Just curious cause he doesn't sound very interested.
SeraBella Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 I'm pretty sure it means if you want to hang out with him sometime, you should ask your friend for his number and call him.
Mistaken Identity Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Sounds like he want to hang out with you but he's too scared to ask for your number.
Mahatma Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 In my 18 year old male perspective : He's asking you to call him, but too shy to just hand you his number or ask for yours. so, yeah... bother. Good luck!
Fettman Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 To me sounds like he likes you but doesn't know if you like him as well. That is why he said to ask a friend for his number if you wanted it, so if you said no thanks to him giving it to you, it would seem less like a regection. Atleast if you don't want to ask the friend for his number, then it wouldnt bother him as much as him giving it to you and you just tossing it......think you got my drift.
