How one interprets the meaning of what someone says may be significantly different then the meaning to the sayer.

Sometimes I want the other person to know what I want without having to voice it.... so I skirt around the issue with stupid comments or agitated behaviour. I realize it's unrealistic to expect someone to know what you are thinking if you don't tell them. I make it a point in relationships now to improve my communication skills. It certainly avoids silly arguements.

It certainly avoids silly arguements. what triggers you to do this....... do you think it is more magical if they can guess and be right, like a test of sorts? Are you afraid to confront another person? I have no fear of saying what I mean. I don't fear confrontation or a challenge to my beliefs......... I like to see the other side of things, perhaps I will learn something. Perhaps it will reinforce my own beliefs even more. Is it this PC society they drives people to not say what they mean?
