No, not the expression of "I love you's" that you believe trully are sincere- but why do men fall into this "comfort" stage where they stop romancing you? I don't need a harlequin novel, but my god would a little romantic expression hurt once in awhile?
quankanne Posted January 27, 2008 Posted January 27, 2008 might be because your spouse doesn't have any sort of model to "show" him how to romance you, especially if he never saw his dad show his mom affection – his idea of showing love could be taking out the trash without being asked or gassing up the car for you. have you talked to him about it, or looked into a marriage enrichment course that'll teach y'all better communication? Those go a long way in helping relationships ...
