Confused9 Posted January 25, 2008 Posted January 25, 2008 My x is in another state working. Last night at 1 AM I got a text message from a number from that state. It isn't the # he usually calls me from but the only difference is the last 4 digits. So the text said, 'I had an issue with my phone F*CK'. so I text message the # back this morning and get no response. so I then called about 2 hours later and a male picked up. I said, I got a text message from this number last night. He said 'I don't remember text messaging anyone'. I said okay and asked what state he is in and he named the state x fiance is in. I was like okay...well your phone text messaged me last night. He was like, What's your name. I told him my name and he was like, well I don't remember texting you. Now I am millions of miles away. This is too much of a coincedence. Right? Should I text my x and see waht the deal is? Or just let it go???

Author Confused9 Posted January 25, 2008 Author Posted January 25, 2008 I am not over him in anyway and NEVER claimed to be. he walked out on me for the OW...and I have been devasted ever since. I obviously do care or else I wouldn't have asked what the meaning of it is. I love this man but he has been extremely hateful to me since he cheated and moved away from his whole life. I am confused, hence the name! Mrs Pixie...thank you for responding to both.

It just seems too coincidental. Doesn't matter. You're grasping at straws to contact him because you think it might be different when you do. No contact is no contact sweetie, I know it's hard- but it's best for you.

I remember a past breakup where every time a leaf fell it was a "sign" she was still thinking about me. She wasn't. You'll meet someone wonderful when the time is right. Hang in there. SF

I am glad I didn't text him back to ask him why he contacted me from someone else's phone. I know it was him...but like you said...it doesn't matter.
