PinkRibbon Posted January 25, 2008 Posted January 25, 2008 Is there anyway to get your spouse to try and make an effort at the realtionship when you are in NC? My husband doesn't talk to me, email me nothing. I don't get the text messages asking am I ok, I don't get any inquiries about how I am doing, I don't get anything from him. How in the world can I make contact with him? I don't want to let him go but I don't want to push him either. I would just like to remind him that I am here. Or should I just let it go?
ElvenPriestess Posted January 25, 2008 Posted January 25, 2008 That's a tough call, but I think if he wants his space you have to give it to him. I DO believe in absence making the heart grow fonder. I don't have NC, but I DID push for a conversation, was a NICE conversation, but he didn't want ANY talks with me, and I ended up with the "You wonder why I hate you and am divorcing you. Stay the F away from me." (Yeah, mine's not salvagable. But yours could be.) My point is, do NOT push. He knows you're there, and let him miss you.
Author PinkRibbon Posted January 25, 2008 Author Posted January 25, 2008 Thanks Elven...I really appreciate the honesty. He wanted me out of his life so I guess he got it. I just hope that absence does make the heart grow fonder. We had 6 years togther I hope he can look and see how good we really did have it and not dwell on the bad. Ok I'll just hang tight and move forward in my own way.

malaclypse Posted January 25, 2008 Posted January 25, 2008 Anyway to get him back when you are in NC? No. If he wants to be with you, you will find out without you breaking the NC.
