D-Lish Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 I don't know if other people experience this- but I have found myself to be the ONLY single person amongst my group of friends. I find that so many of my gf's meet guys and then I go from seeing them all the time to once in a blue moon. Every single one of those girls have always maintained that they would never be "that girl that meets a man and disappears".... But all of them have. I used to go to the gym with six other single girls.... I am the only one that still goes. Everything has become centered around "dinner parties" and couple outings.... and I always feel like a 3rd, 5th, or 7th wheel. It's frustrating. It's frickin' lonley to be the last man standing, so to speak!

I still wanted to hang out but she felt otherwise. She wanted to do a couples outing, which I didnt want to do because I just wanted to hang out with her. If I did invite her out , she would be like is it ok if tim comes ? huh? Then she just stop calling completely. Every now and then she will text message me, but I just say forget it. I can honestly say I have never disappeared on my friends when I met a guy! Yayyyyyyy me!!!!!

If I had a dollar everytime a friend told me that once they met someone that they would still hang out................ Thats when you find things that you can do by yourself and have fun with it.

I was supposed to go out dancing with my friend "T" the other night and I got to her place and her bf was there and she said he was coming with us. Well- they ended up making out in the corner all night while I danced by myself like a loser.... lol.

I am not into the Molson tonight. It's RED BULL baby.

We have to pump some alchi into you. Its party time. Maybe its just me, but after I split up with my last ex, I had no complaints about being single. I enjoyed the time to myself.

The waiting game does suck, but thats all you can do unless you are willing to settle for less, but whats the point in that. Hang in there DL, you'll be alright. Canadian gals are awesome.

But I gotcha on being the 9th wheel... it sucks but I love being single for now and I don't let it bother me. If I am anywhere near Canada, we'd go out and have dinners and let the guys buy us drinks! lol
