Since im new I decided to go right at it and explain my situation.

I was perfectly happy with my girlfriend of almost three years. We did everything together, including working at the same place. While we still lived with our parents (both 19), we still definitely shared finances. Anyways, we broke up in November, and everything has gone down hill for me since. I lost my job, I ended up with a 2.3 GPA for the semester, im extremely broke, and im using marijuana (which I had never tried till after the break up) and tobacco like crazy. She on the other hand got a new boyfriend in less than a month. I think about her constantly, but ive been NC since the break up.

Worst of all, meeting new girls is seemingly impossible. Ive never had any problem finding a girl to date until now. I feel like im freakin 15 again. So now im working full time and starting college again tomorrow (which is an hour drive). Plus I go to a community college so meeting people isnt easy at all.

The only thing I can hope for is to transfer to a real college next year.

Is it just me or does bad luck just follow you after a breakup?

Its not just you. Since the breakup my car has broken down twice, my ipod broke today and my computer is pretty much gone too.

That said chin up man, I go to community college too and the first thing and most important thing I can recommend is seeing the school therapist regarding your drug use.

You can talk to them for free and get some advice and a listening ear in this hard time in your life.

Other than that, try to eat right, get some exercise, a 30 minute walk does wonders for endorphins and above all keep loving yourself.

You are still young and I know it hurts but you will slowly get better. I promise.
