I really like one of my neighbors and like to ask him out sometime, but am not sure how to go about it. I'm not even sure if he is interested in dating at all. He has said things about how he was engaged once and that if he had married her it would have been the biggest mistake he'd ever made. The next day we were talking and he said that if he decided to get married, he'd do one thing, but if he decides to stay single he'd do something else. Since he used the word "decide" I really can't tell. I guess I'm just not sure how ask him out, or if it is something I should even do. I've never asked anyone on a date before. Is it weird for a woman to do the asking? It could also be weird if he said no and then I would still have to see him everyday since we live in the same apartment complex. Any advice I could get would be great. Thanks!

Green Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 you could make it really obviouse you want to go on a date with him, tell him you think hes handsome or something and then leave it at that... Or you could just invite him to something if you really want to... like over to your place for dinner and a movie or what ever...
