Trewsx11 Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 If you were a single guy, which night do you think is better for hitting the local bars and clubs and meeting single women: Friday or Saturday? And why? Is there more single women out on Fridays or Saturdays? Or do you think there is not much of a difference? Thanks! This is for an article I'm writing and I just wanted to get some insights.

Pyro Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 Always seemed the same to me. Some people do work on Saturday but moreso then Sunday, so Saturday night may have better odds.
MakeLemonade Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 Friday night is better for HH-type stuff - the after work crowd, for clubs, bars, places you don't go until 10 or so - Saturday night is better. Friday always seem to be fairly dead at the clubs, late night stuff - people are too tired from working all week to be out that late usually.
spookie Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 Thursday nites during happy hours I agree. When I was more single, I'd hit the bars up with my single female friends on Thursdays. Best happy hours, and that way I could save the weekends for other (better) things with other (closer) friends.

Lee725 Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 I am single & last night (Friday night) i went to a local pub. This question would also be Dependant on the age group involved. Take me for example (30), most of my girlfriends have partners, are married, kids etc, So i go out when they are available (no set routine or day). when i was 18 i was out both nights (and any other night i could get in), i suppose because all the girls were single and it didn't matter! My older friends (say 40+) can generally be found out on say Sunday afternoon (at the pub) because they are really not into techno music or heavy pub bands. ***trust me to over complicate a simple question ***

Simply put: Always be on the prowl, you just might find that the girl sitting across from you on the bus is just waiting to be picked up but yeah friday is the best if you're "looking" for singles. Otherwise, just do what you can when you can (honestly, if you're single and its a saturday. . . who says that you're still not gonna go out that night and find someone?)
