sarme Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 My dear Grasshopper, It is obvious you are where you are at in life and others are where they are at. The EA is the most sensitive and confidential of all positions. Ponder on that. It is not the standard value normal plebes see. You have to expand your horizons Grasshopper. Compensation does not come in the form of a biweekly paycheck. Can anyone say "insider"......ah, yes, I now understand Master. Now, if you are looking at normal compensatory benchmarks, for example, Executive Assistants, in New York City, for Financiers are normally paid in the 100K to 250K range plus other benefits. But my arrangement is very, very nice from both an intrinsic and extrinsic viewpoint. By the way, most of these Executive Assistants have law degress, business degrees etc from Harvard, Princeton etc. LOL where am I in life exactly?? LOL Is it just me or does this person talk like an ESL student that has just learned big words for the first time? An EA is a secretary, you gave up a job as "management executive" that works with investment portfolios to become a "secretary"? LOLOLOL I know EAs can make up to double digits but that's not the point, the point is you said you were a management exec. why would you now want to be a secretary? Actually is management exec just another title you made up? Before you pursue you career in fiction writing make sure to brush up on career and job descriptions. Computers Quote:For your information, Princeton doesn't have a law school or a business school. Seriously!!! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOOLOLOLOLFurthermore, why would any person with a Law or Business degree want to work as a secretary to an executive!?!? LOL
Author danavladeem Posted January 18, 2008 Author Posted January 18, 2008 For your information, Princeton doesn't have a law school or a business school. You are correct, but it does offer a Finance degree. Re-read the sentence, with the use of the word 'etc'. By the way, you missed the nuance of the sentence.

Owl Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 I still ask... What are you looking to gain from posting here? From all appearances, your only goal appears to be to stir up trouble, hurt feelings, and otherwise create contention and strife. You're not here looking to 'figure anything out'. You're not here asking for help, nor are you here looking to help anyone. What's your real goal here?
Author danavladeem Posted January 18, 2008 Author Posted January 18, 2008 Well, it has been a slice. Have fun everyone. Well, I had one "guest" who contacted me via email, we then talked by phone, she got her answers and was very amused. She and I had a good laugh. It turned out she knew some of the 'facts' and the people behind the facts. She said, "Reading the posts, I can see how people read their own interpretation into it and get the wrong view." Small world. Read and interepret whatever you wish. (I have a pretty thick skin.) It is a free country (on both sides of the border.) This is the last post. No more. Take care everyone.
torranceshipman Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 Rambling nutter...! You need a hobby!:D
Owl Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 I wish I knew where to find a good troll repellent to keep handy nowadays.
torranceshipman Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 Lol this one was fnny but not as good as the one with the midgets
BeautifulMystique Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 So, if you want your own rich guy, email me, I walk you thru the steps, if you are so incline. Hey, gotta go for now. Off to another board meeting. Honey, if I were to spill who my ancestors are right here on LS; you'd be the one contacting me straight away to get hold of my brother or relatives. You would even settle for the youngest boy in the family seeing how materialistic you are! Off to another board meeting... more like off to another forum to make a fool of yourself!
te75 Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 WRONG VIEW? Really? The guy is married and regardless of his "plight" you want to be with a married problem? Oops, I meant man...well if that's what you'd call him. Don't you ever wonder about someone who couldn't say what he's saying to you in the presence of his own wife? I mean I don't care what kind of car he drives or if he went to Harvard, he's already proven his character. Now, what about yours?
OldEurope Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 I walk you thru the steps...If you are so incline Um, this is the English of a corporate executive assistant? She can't even get her verb tenses right and hasn't been able to do so throughout (both) threads (to the extent I've read either--a little was a lot, thanks). But yes, as someone else remarked, there is this grade-school East European-chick English combined with the serious, "big" words elsewhere. Flipping through those secretarial manuals, no doubt. Me at bank! Me important! And another thing, hon...5 foot 6 and 130 pounds aren't supermodel or even catalogue model proportions. Get a grip. xo OE
OWoman Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 And another thing, hon...5 foot 6 and 130 pounds aren't supermodel or even catalogue model proportions. Get a grip. Thanks for the conversion, OE. So she's an inch taller than me, but 8kgs heavier? I didn't realise silicone was that heavy!
herenow Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 When a poster signs off with a so called last post, I think they will be back with a new name and new story. Look out for the next work of fiction and I wouldn't doubt it will be Dana reinvented.

torranceshipman Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 Danavladeem sounds a bit like a conundrum - I wonder if we rearranged the letters it'd mean anything...
Carpetrider Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 been lurking around here for a while. before i get sued, if this person is real or partially real, i think i recognise the vacation home in the pic. it looks like the house i saw last summer in the lake tahoe area near the new ski village development. it is a very nice house. big. i recall this since i saw a very attractive blonde get out of her ferrari with a young girl(just can't forget those kinds of images. hell, I am a guy.) don't remember the face since i was quite far away (about 200ft). i think i was staring at something else. i think dana is a bored housewife or a bored mistress on the side. my two cents. anyhow, i pity the guy. this lady sounds like a shark to me. i wonder if she would go out with a mcdonalds manager?
bentnotbroken Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 Don't if you are a Mickey D's manager with a trust fund.
Carpetrider Posted January 26, 2008 Posted January 26, 2008 Don't if you are a Mickey D's manager with a trust fund. How about a trust fund full of coupon clippings? Dana needs a rich guy since she will spend a fortune on plastic surgery to maintain her 'assets'.
bentnotbroken Posted January 26, 2008 Posted January 26, 2008 How about a trust fund full of coupon clippings? Dana needs a rich guy since she will spend a fortune on plastic surgery to maintain her 'assets'. Ahh, a frugal dude. I like them.
Carpetrider Posted January 27, 2008 Posted January 27, 2008 Ahh, a frugal dude. I like them. Yes, am careful with the pennies. I think I have figure out who Dana is. I used several different search engines and relook carefully the pics posted on her flickr site. There are definitely hidden clues there. I also re-read all the posts again for clues. She is a Russian model. Or should I say a model from Russia with a business degree who now lives in Canada. You need to drop the extra 'e'. She is on several obscure Russian websites. Just a photo model. Not bad looking. (I think Dana is her stage name from my research.) I wouldn't throw her out of my bed! Here is a screen shot of her face that was not modified. http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m51/zorand/DT.jpg Remember she said she modified her pic a bit. Looks like she crashed her Ferrari recently. That is CRIMINAL. A blonde should NOT drive a Ferrari!
LucreziaBorgia Posted January 27, 2008 Posted January 27, 2008 Either that or she simply lifted a Russian model's pics to weave a story with.
Carpetrider Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 Either that or she simply lifted a Russian model's pics to weave a story with. Well, I don't know the whole 'truth', but my two friends (one is psych grad, the other a comp grad) and myself did some sleuthing since we were intrique by her storyline to dig deeper. After many hours, what I do know is that the link is a young pic of her. The Asian guy does exist. He does own quite a few companies. We went on the premise that if he is an owner of Ferraris we should find somekind of info on various Ferrari websites. Well, our hunch was correct. His profile is available on one site (which for obvious reasons--we don't want to get sued--shall remain nameless). From there we found a clue to an article in Saratosa Magazine in the society section which gave us another clue to several other websites (hey, it's fun to have a female psych grad to assist here). I note that she mentioned about being engaged in a recent thread and some poster made fun of it....well, this is plausible since Russian women tend to have short engagement periods or at least once they decide to get married they do so much much faster than women here in Canada or the US. We also found another clue on this website: http://www.realrussianmodels.com/contacts.htm of which she was at one time a model listed on this site....thanks to my comp grad friend. You will also note the women on this site tend to get marry real fast. See comments on website. Well, I have to be very careful here, the guy does exist with his kids, and she is dating him (gotta love the society magazines! Especially with pics to boot! He is good looking--I am not gay--and the kids are good looking. We found one pic of her sitting in a Maserati at a function. Very nice. The car, I mean.) As for the circumstances of how she met him, I dunno the truth there. I think there is an element of truth but I also think some of it is fiction to throw a red herring in there. Anyhow, it was fun to do this bit of CSI work! My work is done. Now off to get a nice tall glass of virtual beer for this regular working stiff.
