danavladeem Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 I just want to say that I apologise for making comments that were rather forceful in my first thread topic on this forum. My responses to some of the replies were a bit combative. It is a part of my competitive and assertive side of me that comes out once in a while. I just want to clear a few things and then I am signing off on further comment on the subject. I was the gal where the moderator had changed the original title of my thread of being some bank teller desiring an older man. I am not a teller but a management executive that works with investment portfolios. I was in a very impish and naughty mood when I started the thread. 80 per cent of the story was true. However, some elements like the time frames where not and a few other minor details. Yes, I did get the ride in the Ferrari which happened a while ago. It was very nice and exciting. I have gone out to coffee a few times since that ride. He is a great conversationalist. A super nice man. His wife is very lucky to have him. But she has health issues that could be terminal and these matters weigh heavily on his mind. Honestly, I am still desirous of the guy but not in the same original impressionable vain. His humility, warmth, honesty won over my sometimes icy heart. We have become friends. He has no one to discuss his feelings towards his wife’s illness. He no close friends. He generally keeps his emotions bottled up. It is a typical male, and I think, more so, an Asian trait. What a beautiful relationship he has with her and the children after witnessing it up close. Anyhow, I have since moved on in my career. I no longer worked at the investment bank. I had originally applied for the position of an executive assistant to the Chairman of a Corporate Group. I went thru several grueling interviews. In my final interview, in walked the Chairman, who happened to be him. What a small world. Needless to say, I got the position on a probationary basis. It has been a few months since I past probation. I now work fulltime there. It has been a wonderful feeling to work professionally with him and also to know that I can be there to be his friend in immediate vicinity in his moment of need. I have learned so much of his business style and the way he conducts his business. A true and honest gentleman. And yes, we have grown close as true friends. I don’t know what the future holds beyond that. I am letting him make that first move if he is so incline. I hope some of the points that I made in my thread posting, setting aside all vitriolic thoughts from some religiously motivated posters, started points of cogent discussion and that you derive whatever satisfaction the conclusions of that exercise brings. I hope the visitors of this site and existing members of this site find whatever solace, advice, direction the camaraderie of the Love Shack community provides. Good luck to each one and all in your search. PS. Trimmer, love your prose. And to the Love Shack lurker who managed to find pics of me on the internet on another unrelated website, I say Touché! And to answer your silly comment that you left, yes, I had a serious look because I was tired when that shot was taken. And no, you cannot use it. I reserved all legal rights to that photo. The download function has been disabled anyhow. Anyhow, back to work for me. Gotta put in another 65 hour work week!

The pics are me. But they have been slightly modified. So, on the odd chance if I run into some kooks in public, you would not recognise me. I am just another generic looking blonde that's very common in SoCal, SoFlorida etc. 3. The icon pic is more recent.

The EA is the most sensitive and confidential of all positions. Ponder on that. It is not the standard value normal plebes see. You have to expand your horizons Grasshopper. Compensation does not come in the form of a biweekly paycheck. Can anyone say "insider"......ah, yes, I now understand Master. Now, if you are looking at normal compensatory benchmarks, for example, Executive Assistants, in New York City, for Financiers are normally paid in the 100K to 250K range plus other benefits. But my arrangement is very, very nice from both an intrinsic and extrinsic viewpoint. By the way, most of these Executive Assistants have law degress, business degrees etc from Harvard, Princeton etc.
