sicks2 Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 ive been talking to this girl for about a month now i really like her and im pretty sure she likes me because she usually calls me everyday so we can talk im sorta the nice guy and i listen to her and what not lol well anyway im 17 and shes 16 we go to the same school but we never seem to see each other we do every now and then but its not long enough to spend time together usually we hug and go our way to class i wanna ask her to be my girlfriend but i dont really now how i guess im asking how i could ask her without asking her "do u wanna go out" that doesnt cut it for me

Tell her that you like her and you just don't have the guts to tell her to her face but you want her to be only yours. I think at your age is the only time that shyness is appropriate and it is okay to not be so forthcoming with all your emotions since it is still High School .

Look dude you dont have to ask her "do you want to be my gf" or anything lame like that. Just invite her to your place to watch a movie, or go to the movie theatre what ever... and then do the old arm over her shoulder, and if she leaves it there lean in and just start making out a little bit or a lotta bit durring the movie. voila

When I was 16, a cute guy asked me to study with him and after 2 sessions of it, he asked me out for a movie. He didn't do the arm over my shoulder thing but we ended up dating for 2 years. If he did the arm over my shoulder, I'd have slapped him. I don't know, I just find that disrespectful unless you're really really sure she likes you as much as you do her.

Believe me getting girls isn't a problem for me... look dude just be confident, have a sense of humor about this its not the end of the world if she rejects you just try to have fun while your with her. Bottomn line asking her to be your gf or something like that is a bad idea at this point. Just do the movie thing, try the arm thing, and be respectful (but dont apologize) if she gets mad or says no or whatever, and make her see fire works when you kiss her. Remeber your going to have to risk losing her if you want to get her so dont let your nerves get the best of you, go through with it
