maynicholas Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 I was asked out by a customer where I work. I'm not attracted to him at all, but he seems nice and we have some things in common. I have enjoyed the brief convesations we have had, so I said yes. We haven't gone out yet. Our date is set for later this week. He called tonight and I let it go to voice mail figuring he needed to reschedule. He was just calling to say Hi. This bothers me. I can't say exactly why. He called me right away to set up the date and now he is calling to say hi before we even go out? Why does this annoy/ creep me out? Would you be bothered?
Lucasarts Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 well hes probably happy that you're actually going out with him, and he wants to make sure that you're not rescheduling/cancelling on him. Anyways, if you really dont like how things are going, just go on one date with him and if you still feel the same way, just let him know after/at the end of it. It's unfair to lead someone on by telling him one thing and never following up on it; plus its unfair to you b/c you just didnt have the nerve to say no. I'd be more bothered if he stood you up with no reason/apology. Don't sweat it, hes just anxious.
