Question: What is your opinion of a man in this scenario: Is on an internet "Sex dating site" Sends a message to a woman asking for her email or whatever. The womans profile has no photo, just a few "statistics about her looks, her body and her sexual "interests" The woman replies, only suggesting that they meet on a street near her house, in the middle of the day, and if they like each other they go back to her place for sex. There is no conversation over the net or phone, they just arrange to meet. The guy drives straight there. Is this man sick or just desperate? Id be very interested in opinions on this;) and im really interested in what you would think of a bloke doing this. A woman is another story.
D-Lish Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 A man on an internet dating site looking for a sexual encounter isn't out of the ordinary. I would in fact believe it is the norm these days. I have found that most of the guys on Lava Life have a profile up on intimate encounters as well as dating/relationship. How do I know? I check! I don't know if it makes him desperate or creepy... he could be. That's the problem.... you just can't tell, because until a meeting occurs he is anynomous and he can be anything he wants to be when he posts a profile. I'd be leery and careful and suspicious regardless of the circumstances. Even meeting someone for a casual date over coffee is something to be suspicious about these days. It's just too hard to tell. Are you thinking of meeting him? If so- I'd suggest hiding out and watching him as he arrives..... and see what he looks like for starters. If you don't like him- you can walk away.

And I wouldn't have judged if you said you were the girl...lol. But you know him as a friend- does he strike you as creepy? He's probably just horny. It's a man's dream to have no strings attached sex.... and the stranger part might just be something he gets off on.
