Lishy Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 Well it didn't really work when it was short distance so the chances of it working long distance are small! Good luck!
allina Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 It sounds like you're back together and will be in a LDR? Did he recommit or are you being hopeful? While it's great if the relationship is back in tact make sure you two are on the same page. I don't want you to pine away for a guy who thinks that he is completely single and on the market.
Author Star Gazer Posted January 15, 2008 Author Posted January 15, 2008 SG.. by reading your post it seems you are settling into a LDR ?.. Is that what you want ?.. Do you think it is what he wants or do you think he is promising this to help with the pain of him leaving ? A LDR after the kind of closeness you both have had is going to be very difficult and require a good deal of effort and time to keep alive. I'm hoping for the best for you both Thanks, A_C. Is that what I want? No. I'd prefer he be here. But if the alternative is to not have him in my life at all, then yes...that's what I want. As for him, I honestly don't know what he wants. Perhaps he's making promises and talking about the future to ease the pain, perhaps he really means it...who knows. I don't think he wants a LDR in the sense of having the responsibilities and obligations that he has right now from so far away (3x a day calling, etc.)... But he's made it clear to me that he does want to keep me romantically in his life, and that he does intend on returning here in a few months. Who knows. I just hope.
sb129 Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 Who knows. I just hope. I hope too. I don't have anything constructive to add really. I just hope that things work out. I have faith that there is a chance they could. Wonderboy and I did LDR for 8 months, and we are still going strong.
Art_Critic Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 But he's made it clear to me that he does want to keep me romantically in his life -- there is hope ...
