Read the ones written for women to see what they are and are not on the lookout for. Pick up the Rules, or He's Just Not That Into You - any one of those books aimed at women that more or less advise them how to date. Its like having the enemy's playbook in your hand. Couldn't hurt, right? You never know - you may just meet someone in the bookstore when you are browsing around for those titles.

Many of us consider the how-to-pick-up-women books to be not our style, although I suppose we're probably not the ones you are worried about... Check out this guy for sleazy examples of pickup techniques... It talks about pickup methods, and the stories behind the pickup artists themselves. I actually found myself liking it more for the backstories, but the theories about how pickups work are interesting too.

Oh yah, thanks. i've heard of the Game. i'll look into that. but there was another one i'm thinking of....just can't pull the title from my brain
