NINja Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 So, I moved away to college last year; one of my best friends from last year lives with me on-campus this year. I briefly saw a girl at the beginning of last semester, only for me to end it a couple weeks later(she had only just barely broken up with a long-time boyfriend, I thought she needed more time) We remained good friends and continued to fool around and be intimate on occasion. All the while it was obvious to me as well as others that my friend was interested in her. Then at a Halloween party at her house, long after I had passed out, my best friend kissed her. Inherently I didn't have a problem with that, they were both pretty drunk and I was willing to forgive them. Over the past few weeks though, she kept bugging me to see if I would be okay with her dating my best friend. I told her repeatedly that it hurt me that she cared so little about the friendship that my roommate and I had; but eventually, I just gave in and told her I didn't care anymore. What hurt me even more was that he didn't seem to care either. Now he's barely around the apartment anymore, he's been difficult, he doesn't want to hang out with our 4 other roommates, all because he's with her all the time. I hope you all understand. I feel like I was betrayed by my two best friends. She told me that she loved me, then proceeded to start dating my best friend.
Jordane Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 They both sound inconsiderate especially your roommate.
