StartingOver07 Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Someone did. LOL! I think that was born of expedience, not lust. Ugh - the thought makes me cringe!
Carmen87 Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 John Krasinski, I think it's the cute smile he has!
lindya Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Here's a picture of an actor I had a crush on as a child: http://www.bbc.co.uk/wear/content/images/2006/11/06/sidjamesgallery_470x353.gif I agree with TBF and Story about the Russell Crowe thing. It's ludicrous to describe him as plain. The fact that he doesn't look like a finely chiselled girl doesn't mean he isn't a great looking man. And is this the Diane Lane who was put forward as an example of a plain woman? http://images.askmen.com/galleries/actress/diane-lane/pictures/diane-lane-picture-6.jpg
shadowplay Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 A few more Pierre Clementi from Belle Du Jour. He's not plain, but rather strange looking. But boy does he make my heart go pitter-patter. He reminds me of Cillian Murphy who sort of falls into the same category. I've only found Cillian hot in one movie, though -- Batman. Elsewhere he's too creepy/effeminate. When I was eleven or twelve I had a huge crush on Conan O'Brien. Not because of his looks, but his acerbic wit. I'm a sucker for funny, smart guys. Anderson Cooper, even though he's gay and sort of resembles a wolf.
EYECANDY000 Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Sometimes its the small things that i may notice about a guy. Like the way he walks, his long eye lashes, he isnt afraid to speak him mind>
burning 4 revenge Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Julian Casablancas and that guy you posted a photo of look like young model types. How are they plain?
shadowplay Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Julian Casablancas and that guy you posted a photo of look like young model types. How are they plain? They're not plain, but they're not stereotypically good looking. Their features are more effeminate/boyish and less traditionally chiselled.
MystifiedByMen Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Carolyn Bessette. Remember her? JFK Jr.’s wife. She was known for her plain, yet sexy looks and style. Everyone was crazy about her.
shadowplay Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 (edited) Carolyn Bessette. Remember her? JFK Jr.’s wife. She was known for her plain, yet sexy looks and style. Everyone was crazy about her. I wouldn't even call her plain. Her features were rather exaggerated (she had a large nose) but they were also striking and refined in a way -- just not conventionally so. Edited January 10, 2008 by shadowplay
Trimmer Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 And is this the Diane Lane who was put forward as an example of a plain woman? Yes, lindya, that's her, and I'll repeat my earlier assertion that she has never looked "plain" from the time she was pre-adult (and I was too then, in case that sounded squicky...) to the present...

Leoni Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Diane Lane is a natural beauty. If you look at most media photos, she's not into dramatic makeup. There's the odd glamour photo, where she's wearing more makeup and can run with the best of them.
Florida Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 (edited) charlotte gainsbourg has a *plain* look but an utterly magnetic charm. http://www.media.wmg-is.com/media/portal/media/cms/images/200707/charlotte-gainsbourg-1-medium_1185902305987.jpg http://www.theage.com.au/ffximage/2007/06/21/lge_Charlotte_070621043152325_wideweb__300x300.jpg Edited January 10, 2008 by Florida
burning 4 revenge Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Isn't sexy usually deermined the body? Like I see women all of the time who have fairly plain looks, but great curves and that makes them plain, but sexy
Florida Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Isn't sexy usually deermined the body? Like I see women all of the time who have fairly plain looks, but great curves and that makes them plain, but sexy I never thought of that, well look at charlotte here-she doesn't have curves but she looks darn sexy: http://a5.vox.com/6a00c2251d6ca68fdb00d41431683d6a47-500pi http://www.aolcdn.com/getty/E/2007-05-08/74077803EA055_charlotte-gainsbourg-actress-the-metropolitan.jpg

Florida Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Is she really plain though? Plus her body is thin and elegant looking, not curvy, but far from unattractive or even conventional Personally I don't think she is plain at all, so it is hard to define what plain really means... because I am taking someone generic that *society* thinks is glam like Heidi Klum (who i think is plain and ho hum) as a standard. Personally speaking, I would consider Jessica Alba or Cindy whats her name the model with the mole very plain. This doesn't makes sense anymore, does it?
Florida Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Charlotte needs to eat something. No no I bet she has a hearty appetitie, you can tell she is naturally that way. Perhaps it is not your thing, but it doesn't mean she is not eating enough.

But on Earth that chick either has a tapeworm or an eating disorder. No way in hell is that natural.

No way in hell is that natural. It doesn't have to be that way Ive known women like that and a lot of them simply prefered cocaine to food
Pyro Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Maybe in the land of puppy dogs and ice cream that's true. But on Earth that chick either has a tapeworm or an eating disorder. No way in hell is that natural. You'd actually be surprised. A friend of ours is 5'8" and weighs 112 pounds. She is very thin but she is as healthy as they come.
Florida Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Maybe in the land of puppy dogs and ice cream that's true. But on Earth that chick either has a tapeworm or an eating disorder. No way in hell is that natural. Dude, c'mooon there are a million and one body types, some people are naturally obese, some have little pot bellies, and some are naturally bone thin. In the case of Nicole Ritchie, you can tell it is dieting, but it would be a huge mistake to assume that all rail thin women are purgers, as it would be a mistake to assume that all fat people simply overeat. A lot was decided before you (in the general sense) were born through genetics.
tanbark813 Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Ive known women like that and a lot of them simply prefered cocaine to food Okay, one more possibility.
