makemyblackrosesred Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 If someone goes on a dinner date..is that a serious term? My friend Joe goes out a couple times a month with this girl and says "oh I have a dinner date" but calls her his friend. I love joe to death he is like my big bro..but him and this girl have been friends for 3 years. I want him to be happy and move to the next level not just dinner dates. Is it a misconception that dating or dates are a short term thing before entering a relationship? It seems to me instead of saying casual dating or sex..people use the term dinner date to mean going out with friends of the opposite sex but not actually dating/dating them, like in a relationship. Does anyone know what I mean? BTW this isn't the man I am refering to in pervious posts
amethyst3 Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Are you sure it isn't just a dinner date, where two people just have dinner? Friends do that all the time.
