the013 Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 im 18... i dated a 14 yr old... were together for a week at first...then she told me dat she cant go on lying to her mom (her mom doesn't want her to hav bf) so she broke up with me... then...2 weeks later she said she missed me alot n we got bak together...then after 2 weeks...she said this is it... her mom lying thing again... n..she said this time its serious!! been 2.5 months since broke up n i haven't asked her for a 3rd chance... wat should i do? she used to call me until 25th dec n she stopped callin... i haven't called her for a week now... she talks on the phone but she tries to avoid me at skool... her frds doesn't know dat we were together.... wat should i do now? should i call her up ? i've been waiting for her to call me but it aint working...
ElvenPriestess Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 Ok, I'm going to be blunt because I care. You are 18. You are young. She is 14. She is under age. Mom finds out, crap hits the fan. She's too young for you, and if you guys ever had sex statatory rape would be a problem, again, if the mom found out. Not saying you guys have or would have sex, but the point is while age doesn't matter so much when you're older, especially four years, it's important right now. You need to let it go.

Since you are 18, and her mother already doesn't want her daughter to have a boyfriend, I wouldn't put myself in the predicament to call her house. But if she doesn't have anything to say to you in school, then you shouldn't worry about her anymore and just let it go.

Even in texts, I dont use "text-speak". Anyways... the013, I would let go. As everyone has said so far, She is too young for you or atleast for the time being. Maybe in the future you two might work something out but right now, I dont think its a good idea.

That's one of the first red flags I pulled out, this age problem. And i know my own mother when I was that age would be the same. I just think cutting the ties is the solution here.
