ninja657 Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 Ok this is really puzzling me. I am a guy, but i could have a type of breast cancer, nobody's for sure yet and we haven't seen a doctor, which i know we should. But i have a girlfriend, and she cares about me, a lot. I love her so much and i know she loves me but if i do have cancer than how do i tell her? Please somebody i need help!
EYECANDY000 Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 of course there is no easy way to give someone bad news, but you have to tell her as soon as possible. Make sure you are being positive about the situation. As much as im sure thatit is bothering you, you wouldnt want to upset her as well
Cobra_X30 Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 First wait until you know that you have it. Don't worry her over nothing. Second... if you do have to tell her. Call it "pec cancer" or something avoid the word breast if you can.
Lee725 Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 I love her so much and i know she loves me but if i do have cancer than how do i tell her? Please somebody i need help! I hope for your sake that you don't, but if you do need to tell her it would not hurt to take with you as much information as you can eg: phamlets, written information from the doctor etc. That way you can both sit and discuss it and will have the information there to go over should she have questions. It may be worth telling her now tho for two reasons (i know you dont want to worry her but): 1) you need support during this time, i am sure that you would be very apprehensive about this and you probably need comfort yourself. 2) If it does turn out that there is something wrong and you tell her later she may feel shut out that you did not talk to her about it in the begining. Good luck and i sincerely hope that you everything comes back clear for you.
Santiago 17 Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 How old are you and why do you think you might have bresat cancer? Young men get something called gynoclamastia and it is a hard lump under the nipple and it is very common. It can be painful but it is not cancer.
Green Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 Just go to the Dr. and dont wory about being a guy with breast cancer until some one with a medical degree tell you so is my advice. Telling some one that your sick can be tough to do especialy if it does end up being breast cancer since your a guy. But personaly I would advise you to just see a Dr. if your worried and to stop diagnosing yourself. Good luck man, I have a feeling your going to fine
