I have a hard time getting my boyfriend to open up to me about anything. If I ask him a question, he usually replies "I don't know" or nothing is wrong. I know guys don't have the need to talk about their feelings and stuff like girls do, but it's not helping him by bottling things up and then making bad choices because he doesn't know how to talk things out. Any advice?

Instead of asking directly, which might make him defensive. Coax it out of him by opening up yourself. He might reciprocate. I know I dislike the "What are you thinking" every 5 seconds type of deal. Casually slip in, how did that make you feel? after he tells you something and he might tell you.

Saying, you need to open up to me and tell me your feelings probably won't work. Guys have a very difficult time dealing with emotions perceived as un-masculine so you just have to ease him into it.
