Msblueyes Posted January 2, 2008 Posted January 2, 2008 For some reason, my xboyfriend has been calling one of my girlfriends. I introduced them when we were all out together, before we broke up in October, so he's only known her for three months....he's called her asking if another mutual friend of ours might want to go out with him and my girlfriend politely said, "I don't think so..." My xbf is a drug addict, has no job & no car....so I don't understand why he thinks he's "all that." We were together for 8 years, most of them bad. He left me, after doing rehab this year & thinks he's god's gift....NOT. My girlfriend's a very sweet woman, and knows the whole gig with him & doesn't want any of our friends getting mixed up with him...so I can't even mention that I know he's calling her... Thoughts on this?

I had an Ex in california before I moved to florida and she went telling all my friends and family over there that I was gay. I most clearly am not but since she hated the fact that I broke up with her to move to florida with my parents she went crazier than she already was...

My friend made me promise not to say that she told me about him calling & what he's saying. He also made inappropriate talk regarding my mother & how when she dies, I'm coming into $$....as in, he might be hanging around (mom's 82, not sick or anything, but sick of him for sure)... So, believe, me, I've bit my tongue quite a few times as my friend tells me what he's up to..... He actually called me yesterday, to ask me if I had made a comment about him during New Year's Eve....which, I did not & then he said, "well, I'm going to call "L" and ask her....(so high school & this x is 40 years old!), I told him to go ahead.....why is this going on?
AudiA4 Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 not sure why people do some of the things they do you know I mean even if there is a reason he's venting what ever it may be no reason to do it. I would just forget about it and move on don't let it bother you much he probably likes the attention once he realizes your not caring he'll stop.

Yeah...that's what my mom said...he's got nothing to do & figured he'd annoy me. I'm working very hard to move on from this relationship...It's been 8 weeks and each week gets easier in the respect that I'm not having breakdowns full of tears anymore, but still have the empty feeling....know that I don't think I'm ready for any new men at this point, because I really want to heal from this break up.
