I had just got out of a year long relationship. She went away to school. I stayed @ the local school (I had a sick family member and felt the obligation to stay). So, we both knew it wouldn't work and mutally broke up.

Now, I had been out of the game for a while so wasn't fully sure of myself. I met a girl in my class who I over time fell for. It was a 12 week class; and 2 weeks before the class was over I got her phone number. During that week, I worked like 5 days in a row and just kept getting busy with other things, so never called her. I saw her a week later for the final, but it was the last day and I didn't get a chance to talk her, because once we were done with the final we got to leave. She left before me and gave me eye contact, but I froze and didn't say anything. Horrible, I know.

The next night after the final I sent her a text laughing at the fact she seemed so excited for the class to be over and that I bet she had already sold her book. She replied immediately to this text laughing saying "haha, not yet, did you?". I was at work when I got this text so after work I got off at about 11:30pm I replied saying "No, I didn't. But I wanted to see you again, maybe we can celebrate being done with that class."

I sent that text a week ago - and still no reply. I guess it's possible she never got it, or that she may be shy and doesn't know how to respond. At least that's what I'm hoping.

I feel like I have to know one way or the other though - regardless of the outcome.

She gave me a bunch of signs of interests, and I feel like I blew it by sending that text message instead of calling.

Do I call this girl? Do I try sending her another text? What do I do? I don't know.

She is single by the way. I looked at her my space and she has like no male contact on it - this is making me even more confused or maybe I am right in thinking she is shy.
