If you don't fall down and go boom without diving, it shouldn't be called as a..errr...hook. It only slows down the game for the gazillionth penalty...Grrrrr...bad enough with all the rule changes...

Outside of North America none of "The Big Four" is as popular as soccer on a worldwide basis. To each his own, I guess. Soccer is SO much better than American football, or baseball (snooooooozer zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz). I'm kind of glad it attracts different types of fans. Hockey is great too it is such a rough game it is totally fun to watch especially from the box. Soccer players are not only the hottest men, the sport is the most exciting to watch. It is so fast paced and filled with action, it is very Euro always on the go where as football is a whole lot of build up or "bling" for a lot of stop and go...a lot like North American culture isn't it. Sort of explains why the entire world is into one sport and only a continent is into another. Did I mention I LOVE soccer?

I prefer Rugby League, but I would much rather watch soccer then NFL rofl. I like to watch a game which is fast. Not they take half an hour to set up one play and then it fails anyway Just is a shame I live in a country whose soccer team sucks

I know football is such a major drag an ex of mine inducted me into the world of Superbowl parties, he had a party for two at our place (awww it was so cute) and tried to walk me through the plays so that I could appreciate what was going on. I loved that he took all that trouble to include me in his world and I was a good girl and payed a lot of attention even though I was absolutely dying inside. It was sheer torture watching that silly game of nothingness. Next year I made it a point to have plans made sure he had a superbowl party with his guy friends. I loved superbowl sundays it was brunch with the girls, then all day shopping and possibly a movie to end the the day just right. We would reconvene at home at night and we both had the times of our lives, how much better can your day be? I know I live in a country where our team sucks too, I went to a lot of games this past summer since we started a league and the sub 20 played here it was a LOT of fun even though when our home team played it was a real shame...nontheless the crowd went ballistic, it was great!

American football fans are only insane because they watch NFL Soccer fans are passionate, but mainly they are European so that kinda comes with the territory
