tkgirl Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 okay... first I get rejected by a guy I thought I really liked... see long post below! THEN I get rejected by this site... twice even and for that said post! I crossed post (oops, didn't know!) so I get a warning... then I wrote it so long and rambling that "Tony" said no one will respond... which was true! I'm actually laughing about it and it feels good! better than the crying I've been doing on and off all day! just thought I'd share!
frd150 Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 Sorry, i guess. I have come to the realization that when someone rejects you it is for good reason in your favor. That guy would have probably turned out to be a douche anyway. Just remember the best may be right in front of you and you dont even realize it. I think alot of us here have had our hand slapped but for good reason. Tony is on top of things and I wouldnt have it any other way.
Crestfallen_KH Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 I got one for ya... I'm doing much better now, but I reached a point shortly after my ex-husband and I separated (due to him cheating on me and moving in with his gf) where I felt really, truly suicidal for the first time in my life. I called the suicide hotline. I got a recorded message saying I was being transferred to my state-sponsored mental health services department. On the third ring, the line disconnected. They'd hung up on me. It took me a second to realize I was disconnected and when I did, with tears all over my face, I started laughing. The suicide hotline hung up on me. When I started laughing, I realized I was probably NOT suicidal and was going to be ok. I was, and am. You'll get there too.
Confused9 Posted December 20, 2007 Posted December 20, 2007 Crestfallen....that is hilarious! I mean not that you were going to kill yourself but that they hung up on you. That is totally something that would happen to me! PS. I just read your posts about your WH...I post stalked you to see how you are doing. Our stories and timeline are very similiar. Well, sort of.
