Racquel Colette Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 That is all fine and warm and cuddly but the fact still remains that her boyfriend was enjoying taunting and teasing her about her desire to get married someday by asking her to look at a jewelry catalog then stating "no, not gonna happen after all." What about that behavior? Dumpable offense, totally.
maynicholas Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 LB- Maybe the cataloge thing was to get you a xmas ring but also to test your taste in engagement rings for the future- so he could pick one out on his own and surprize you later. Just something to think about. I mean xmas is the perfect cover to feel out your GF's taste in special jewelry for future reference...

Just something to think about. I mean xmas is the perfect cover to feel out your GF's taste in special jewelry for future reference... Yeah, actually that's what I think also. I realized that I'm being an idiot and I really will like the jewelry box and perfume that he got me. He has always told me that he thinks that a proposal should be a huge shock surprise so maybe he really is trying to just get me something else for Christmas that I'd want and surprise me with something later. I've never had a boyfriend who wasn't straightforward so this is like a project to me! I really am going to try to be happy with what he got me, and he is taking me out to a very fancy and expensive dinner for my birthday (which is dec. 30th). I'm just happy that he is my boyfriend.
