Is it a do or don't?

Can anyone pull off that look?

I have a bob now, but not quite a fierce as ole VB's and was wondering if any of you have it, what your thoughts are. High maintenece? Sexy? love it or hate it?

Anyone have any recommendations for salons in SF that can make this cut?

Thanks

I think it's a Don't.

She has a very severe look to her - all angles and skin and bones. She would look better with a hairdo that softened her overall look.

I like it on her, but I think it'd be hard to pull off unless you were prepared to always look as shiny-perfect as she does.

Katie Holmes' style is more reasonable IMO.

I love short hair. Mine used to be waist-long but I chopped it off in the style of Charlize Theron circa Sweet November and I'm very happy with the way it's been behaving.

A friend of mine has it.. but her hair are straight... it looks good on her.

I think that if your hair is curly it would be disastrous... unless you have a good straightener (iron) ...

I like it on VB, and I also like it on Jenny McCarthy (who had it first!). I like VB's less severe version, when it's not perfect (kinda messy and poofy). Like this: http://img2.timeinc.net/people/i/2007/specials/sma07/fan/victoria_beckham.jpg

I think you really have to have the right fiesty personality to pull it off though.

Yes...this is the posh do that I'm thinking about. My hair is curly but it doesnt stay curly all day. The top is usally straight like this image. Jenny Mccarthy's is more of a trasditional bob. She doesn't have that edge thing going as posh does.

thanks everyone!

Okay, well i guess she does sort of. posh's is so much shorter and has a whole different look to it (atleast from the baseball image you sent.)

I'd be doing the shorter of the two bobs, since i already have the longer version, just with curlier hair.

It's different because VB has like NO HAIR on one side. All the hair is on the other/long side, if that makes sense. Her hair is only like 3-4 inches long on the shorter side.

Diva International, at One Market at the Embarcadero. They're pricey, but they can do edgy, precision cuts really well (and other kinds, too, of course).

I had this exact cut in the 90's. I loved it at the time, but looking back I wonder what I was thinking. But the again I didn't have an iron at that point, so if I blew it out the wrong way I looked like a mushroom.
