marcus0884 Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 Ok well Im posting here because I'd like to see what you guys think about my situation and If anyone has some good advice. Its pretty long but I appreciate the help. Im 23yr old med student Heres the story. I just recently got out of a very rocky and unstable relationship about a month before I met Jane ;23yrs old; and I knew It wasnt a great time to meet someone else but I decided to give it a shot. Jane was my sister in-law's manager at her workplace and my sister in-law thought jane and i were a perfect match, so she "hooked" us up. We were simply talking as friends on the phone for about a week before we actually met, but she and I were so much alike we both felt like we were a perfect match for each other. First day we met we hit it off very nicely. Although I felt I still wasnt ready for a relationship or even dating her I went for it anyway simply because SHE was the one who seemed to be pursuing me so i gave her a chance. This relationship felt so perfect in every way until she told me that she wasnt sure she was quite ready for our relationship. She claimed that I am the perfect guy for her and she wants to continue dating me but she needs to get over her ex , because as it turns out she also recently got out of a rocky relationship. Nevertheless we continued dating and spending as much time together as we could and things were going great. We were both so happy. She told me she was going out of the country to visit her family for about month mid december- mid january. Four months later, Its December..yay holiday time. She left a few days ago and the day before she left she spoke to me as if we were never going to see each other again. I asked if she was coming back and I never got a straight answer. She cried and said she was going to miss me yet never giving me a reason or answer if shes coming back to me. It seems very sudden and suprising but I do not know if shes coming back or if she even wants to continue talking to me. Im very very confused right now and do not know wether to get over her or to wait for her. Im not going to brag but I am a very good boyfriend and am always told "they just dont make guys like you anymore". Im goodlooking, semi successful and continuing to become more. I have alot of confidence in myself. She said she has issues with herself but yet im perfect for her and she wants me in her life ,says her...but she left me thinking im never going to see or hear from her again. Too many questions were left unanswered and im really confused. I keep thinking I should wait for her but then Im wondering if HER ex came back into the picture and she just doesnt know how to break it to me. I am very familiar with girls who leave a great guy for someone who treats them like crap. Ive been considering asking her best friend or her mother for advice on this since she may have more insight on this than I do. what do you guys think? : )
