Well, providing that's all you do, then that's ok....

 

Really. Give the phone to someone else, and tell them to only give it back once you're sober. Then - and only then - decide if it's still a good idea to text her.

 

Booze is great stuff, doubtless, but it does fusk you up a bit....

Its called haveing respect for others and not useing them for your own pleasure. Its a good thing lacking in 95% of men now adays be happy your not one of them! To you it may be just some fun on your bday but to her it may mean more. And when you sober up in bed with her the day after and have to deal with that it can't lead any were but to hurt and dissapointment! just not worth it.

At first I thought you were talking about your ex, now it sounds more like your FWB. Take the former out of your phone, write it on a post it and put it in a drawer if that is the case. If the latter, now that you are sober, call her up.

Nah, I have passed the point where I would be weak enough to call my ex. No amount of alcohol would make me succumb to that these days. The girl I was referring to is someone I always see at a certain local bar and we slept together once. She's cool but I'm not into her. I don't think she's under any illusions about what I want from her, but I still don't want to risk hurting someone.

Unless it's a sure thing, the late night drunk hook up is not the way to go if there is any ambiguity. The day time flirt, however, es muy bueno.

I think that's all she wants is the hookups. But still... I don't want to make it a regular thing.

I agree with that. If hookups are too common, you are too intimate with the person for the level of connection you actually share, and you become complacent in your dating life. Best to make them infrequent, but frequent enough to get the willies out of your willy.
