Hey everyone,

just wanted to know if anyone has tried this and what where their experiences like as a way to meet ppl after a split.

I live in london and since i split from my ex two months ago i've found that its hard to date in london.

Okay, i know two months is a little soon so let me give you a quick background:

I was with my ex for 5 years, we lived together, talked about marriage, babies.... we were buying a house. One day (end of Aug 06) we split after a year of not working out and i regret it and he doesn't. After a long, hard year of getting my life together, moving on without him, we became friends, only to get back together in July 07. Relationship was almost perfect, he told me he loved me and always had, i still felt insecure, he confirmed that by breaking up with me two months ago and now he's in a serious relationship with a girl he met as a friend while we split the first time. She's already met his dad and he's taken her on holiday (in two months i tell you! i had to wait 6 for that and we were so in love!).

Anyway at first i was against dating for a long long time, but now i feel like i need to move on. I've spent a lot of time on my own career, passions and thing like buying a car/house, and i now find there are no guys i'm interested in, in all my circles of friends.

Why is it the one who did the dumping has no problems finding dates? Anyway.. i'm considering trying the internet. I know the stigma involved but i don't care anymore. London is seriously lacking in men.

btw i just watch 'The Holiday'.... anyone want to house exchange with me? LOL
