CraigAllen Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 But, no matter what you do, ladies, PLEASE, keep them covered... Whaletails are soooooo tacky. So YOU say. I think we should have a poll.
Mustang Sally Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 So YOU say. I think we should have a poll. Fine by me. I think most women would agree, however, that showing off one's UNDERgarments (under being the operative word) is rather inappropriate. Especially in PUBLIC PLACES (where children may congregate). I'm certain, however, that many men do like to see the, um, "evidence" and that may certainly be a turn on for some, uh, gentlemen....(and I use that word loosely....)
blind_otter Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 I hate thongs but wear them if forced to. Most of the time I wear normal panties or boy shorts. Boy shorts are my favorite. So comfy. I have no advice on how to make thongs more comfortable because I can barely endure them myself.
Author nashua Posted December 18, 2007 Author Posted December 18, 2007 Fine by me. I'm in agreement on this one MS. When I see the thongs hangin out of a girl/womans pants, I think it is trashy and a sign of insecurity. I can defintatley see where a ahem...gentleman, might think it is hot but c'mon ladies....don't sell yourself so short. Have a bit of respect. There are much better ways to show sexiness.
Star Gazer Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Am I the only one who finds regular bikini-style underwear to be the style that's uncomfortable? I take issue with anything hugging my a**. In fact, I'm so used to good 'ole thongs that wearing a bathing suit feels funny because I seriously rarely wear underwear that covers my rump. Hanky Panky thongs and VS Pink are my favorites.

When I see a girl bend over her chair and her thong is 2 or 3 inches above her low-cut jeans waistband, I automatically think slut. She may not be, of course, but that's my first impression. I'm sure guys think, "easy".
Mustang Sally Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Thanks for that unsolicited solidarity, ladies. Men: if you like to see your lady's (and LADY would be the operative word, here...) underpants, then arrange to see them in private. Many thanks. Next!
White Flower Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Mustang Sally, You should start an etiquette thread. Have you ever seen that forward that goes around every May or June about summer etiquette? I especially like the advice that says, "Never EVER wear sandals without having gone for a pedicure--there's nothing worse than seeing scaley feet and chipped toe nails." Sorry to T/J.

Sorry to T/J. Ha! Totally agree with that one, too. It's not that I consider myself the queen of etiquette or anything... But. Contrary to popular belief here on LS, I am actually quite a lady. I don't cotton to trashy garb.

Ah, so a moratorium on visible thongs based on the you THREE ladies. I'm not quite sold yet.

Methinks you (as a male, I'm supposing) will probably believe what you want to believe, regardless.... Just sayin'. <blowing kiss at you>
Stockalone Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Ah, so a moratorium on visible thongs based on the you THREE ladies. I'm not quite sold yet. Make that three ladies plus a gentleman. Wait, make that three ladies plus a guy; I do like to look at certain underwear if given the chance .

I guess it's a matter of what you're used to.
blind_otter Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 I like having my ass gently cradled by fabric. I'm old fashioned.
Storyrider Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Thong = Permanent wedgy But I will wear one in bed if it is coming off in short order.

Men: if you like to see your lady's (and LADY would be the operative word, here...) underpants, then arrange to see them in private. Many thanks. Next! Wait a second! The rules are much more complicated. It's Ok to show underwear provided some of the basic rules are met. 1. There is a particular Height to Weight ratio that must be met. (General body fat distribution does not have to meet any specific metrics) 2. There is an age limit! Roughly based on years of fertility! 3. The underwear/ thong must meet strict USDA guidelines. For clarifications on this please see Cicso's Thong Song There does that make sense?
Green Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 so hott hearing about that girl who doesnt wear undergarments woo hoo
