nashua Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 Whats the secret??? For some reason I cannot comfortably wear thongs/g-strings. I'm not sure what the problem is, but is there anyone else out there feeling the same way. Funny thing is that I'm ALL about fashion, and knowing Visable Panty Lines are a major Faux Pas in the fashion industry kills me. How does one comfortably wear Thongs? Thanks for the input.
Trialbyfire Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 Grin and bare it, otherwise, find alternate forms of underwear....
Author nashua Posted December 16, 2007 Author Posted December 16, 2007 Grin and bare it, otherwise, find alternate forms of underwear.... I've been doing that but my VPS are out for everyone to see and I hate that. I mean, MILLIONS OF WOMEN WEAR THONGS DAY IN AND DAY OUT why can't i?
Jilly Bean Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 I've gone commando since I was 15. Try that.
amaysngrace Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 I've gone commando since I was 15. Try that. You must have a high dry-cleaning bill. I hope. As for getting use to it, I don't think you do really. It's just yet another one of the perks of being a lady. But I know what ya mean...chronic wedgy.
Jilly Bean Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 You must have a high dry-cleaning bill. I hope. No, I just keep myself nice and clean. Good hygiene goes a long way...
amaysngrace Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 No, I just keep myself nice and clean. Good hygiene goes a long way... So you wash everytime you pee? That must be a hassle when you're in a public restroom. Especially that soap is so irritating.
Jilly Bean Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 So you wash everytime you pee? That must be a hassle when you're in a public restroom. Especially that soap is so irritating. Huh? Have you not heard of toilet paper? Not sure why you would feel so unfresh after peeing - lol.
Trialbyfire Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 TMI ladies... Women get accustomed to wearing thongs. At no time can anyone honestly say they're comfortable but you can get used to them, like anything else. Try the type that are a wider, stretchy soft lace. They give you less of a permanent wedgie feel. Speaking of TMI...
amaysngrace Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 Huh? Have you not heard of toilet paper? Not sure why you would feel so unfresh after peeing - lol. I just think it'd be nasty to pee and then have it touch my clothes. Especially if I don't do dry cleaning often. And don't jeans irritate you? And how do you wear a little short skirt? I guess everybody has their own preference. But me I like my pretty undies. Even if some of them make me feel like I have a wedgy.
a-sweetart Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 Thongs with a very thin string or a soft stretchy lace are most comfortable in my opinion. I actually prefer thongs and do not feel that they are uncomfortable. It is about buying good quality well fitting undies.
AriaIncognito Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 I'm 33 and have never even tried one. I just can't imagine I'll ever ever get used to having that in my butt lol. I have a friend that wears them exclusively, except for during her TotM. Personally I can't imagine doing it. I also wonder if different sized women have different issues. Like, is a thong more or less comfortable for a size 0 as opposed to a size 20.
Trialbyfire Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 No, I doubt it makes a difference, since I'm a size 0 - 2. If you think of the logistics of how a thong fits, unless you wear it saggy, it will not be the most comfortable item you've ever worn. I have other types of lingerie that don't leave VPL, that I prefer to wear, some of the time.
so gutted Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 i gete thrush everytime i have any kind of sexual experience down under, thongs may also set this off. This drives me insane. can u imagine?
Lucky555 Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 Thongs.......I have got used to them. At first they feel weird but then you just wear it! lol I think they give me confidence with guys too. If only they knew! lol hahaha. I find that its alluring for guys in general but they are wondering hmm what kind of undergarments does she have on! It makes me feel confident. However, i will just wear them whenever. However, if i want to feel comfortable like going skiing or something like that i will wear like bikini style or something that doesn't you know lol ITs all about comfort there. OH by the way cheap undergarments will not work for this. Like i like victoria secrets undergarments because the material is soft and you feel more comfortable. PLus knowing your undergarment size helps, like bra size if your not an A cup then you wouldnt be wearing it...it would be uncomfortable. So get some quality undergarments and i think you will be fine
child_of_isis Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 Are going for the lace and frills maybe? Or the wrong fit? I say experiment man...you won't regret it. They are the most comfortable things ever. Oh, and the way they "cup" you feels amazingly sexy also ;-)
brothermartin Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 God bless the man (or woman) that invented,...(dramatic pause) The Thong! Never before have I felt such high levels of sexual arousal as when I have the privilege and honor of seeing a hot-pink or white or black or green or lace tip of a thong peeking from just above the top of her pants! God bless the female form! And God bless that small, dainty, soft piece of fabric that so compliments said form!
Jilly Bean Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 I just think it'd be nasty to pee and then have it touch my clothes. Especially if I don't do dry cleaning often. And don't jeans irritate you? And how do you wear a little short skirt? Yeah, I don't have this experience, hon. After I pee, I am very well dried off, so it's not like something nasty is touching my clothes. lol. Jeans don't irritate me, but I also don't have anything hanging off to even BE irritated. And I wear short skirts a lot. Just have to watch sitting down to be sure my bits have some barrier between me and a seat. It's all doable. I have, and will wear thongs for dress-up, or for my guy for an occasion. They do take a small amount of time to get used to, but once you do, you really don't feel it at all. I've just always been much more of a nudist - slept in the nude since I was 12, spend the summer days naked walking around the house, etc. so for me, not wearing undies is just more of my personality and my relationship to clothes period.
Nevermind Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 I dont like thongs too much. Neither do I like vpl. But I find that with those kind of panties http://www.maneaterthreads.com/ProductImages/karajanx/plumbing-panties.jpg I don't have any either.
Mustang Sally Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 I agree that they are never comfortable, per se... But the lack of a pantyline is important enough with some of my pants, that I deal with it. Eventually, you do get used to and forget about the discomfort. I would suggest trying a g-string if the thong is too much for you. G-strings have even less material...so potentially less of the wedgy-feeling, but YMMV, of course. I usually end up feeling hypersexual when I wear thongs...all that focusing on the genitals, I suppose. But, no matter what you do, ladies, PLEASE, keep them covered... Whaletails are soooooo tacky.
spooty Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 i think the "fuller" thongs are more comfortable, try the victoria's secrets vs cotton thong (not the g-sting) i think those are downright comfy. you may bot think so because there is a thicker strap that goes between your cheeks, but it's the thin straps that are more uncomfortable because they can pull and cut in. also, the ones with strings down your butt don't seem to.... keep me in since there is a lot less fabric. so thicker on the sides and down your butt makes for more comfort, and always cotton, because other synthetic fabrics WILL irritate, i have one that has some polyester satin-type trim and i can feel it all day.
EYECANDY000 Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 If they are uncomfortable I dont think anyone can give any good advice about how to make them more comfortable. Of course they come in all shapes. But if you cannot bare them stick to panties thats kind of similar to "the boy shorts" Me on the other hand I love wearing thongs! I havent worn full panties in years hahaha:cool:
mortensorchid Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 Thongs are some kind of torture device. Gave me gas for some reason. Don't know what it is, put a thong on, gassy all day.
KenzieAbsolutely Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 Yeah, I don't have this experience, hon. Jeans don't irritate me, but I also don't have anything hanging off to even BE irritated. people who wear underwear don't wash them every time they use the bathroom...do they? that'd be one butt-load o'panties.
