A guy falling for a girl? Or a girl falling for a guy?

What I meant by the term "falling" is whether someone has developed feelings for, in love of, noticed, or interested in another person.

Define meaningful ?

To me the action of falling for someone would be meaningful for the person doing the falling and possibly but not necessarily meaningful for the other..

But to nail down whether it is a boy of girl doing the falling to which is more meaningful is next to impossible..

Kinda like shoveling sand against the tide..

Humans.. Go figure...

Anyone got other opinions?

Uhmmm... how would either be more meaningful than the other?

I think that every individual case of one person falling for another has different meanings all the way around, and cannot even begin to be categorized into gender. Every instance is unique. The degree depends on factors such as who it is, how long you've known them, and all the other basic attraction factors. (physically, emotionally, mentally)

The way I used to see it, it's the girl who likes the guy first and the guy takes no notice of it. The girl either acts flirtatious (or some other form) around the guy and still the guy shows no sign of interest. When the guy finds out that the girl likes him he tells her that he's not interested and so ends the love. But after a while when the guy realizes how much the girl liked him he starts to like the girl, and, as much as he wanted to convince her that now he likes her, the girl retaliates by either liking another guy or rejects him.

No no. Why is it on a gender thing here? Like the last post said, it's most meaningful with mutual feelings.

None of it is meaningful unless they both fall for each other, at the same time. Then all sorts of meaningful things happen...

Edit - looks like I should have read the other posts, although I did add a little onto the end. So, technically, I agree with quite a number of other posters.
