Uh, uh, a bucket of coal for you darling. Don't forget, he sees you when you're sleeping... I worked at a video store as a teenager where we re-sold used videos. You'd put this plastic wrap bag-like thing around it, and then use a heat gun to shrink the plastic to fit around the video. I bet some of the dudes at the store shrink wrapped their penises. Unders isn't like that, that would be me.

I can see why you would ask that. No, I don't like that challenge pooh, whatever form it takes. The real challenge (for me) is to genuinely connect with people. Being quiet or loud or whatever is just different peoples' way. I try to be amendable to some of those ways in attempt to befriend those who I respect regardless of a demeanor or where it may lead. To be perfectly honest I don't know the guy. The quiet thing does frustrate me a little but if anything ...it puts me off. Although because other offers are not rolling in, I am patient and open to the idea of getting to know him better. That is really all. ...and he is really, really, really cute.

In his wisdom he shook his finger at me and said. 'All it means is that he does find you attractive but is not interested in dating you.' He also said he used to be that guy. Then went on to tell me he still calls that lady years and years later. TMI. Then someone else set down that could be crab man in 20 years...and it was not good. Am I silly? Sometimes I think the Universe just puts things out there for our consideration and maybe this encounter was one of them. *insert twilight zone music here*

Okay, 'splain to me how he used to be that guy but is still calling that lady, years and years later and not doing anything about it. Seems to me he's still that guy.

But maybe it's just as simple as that he's just too shy to make a move. I see nothing really wrong with your being the initiator here. I mean if it turns into something and you're ALWAYS the one to initiate getting together, etc. (especially the etc.) THEN you have a problem. But for now, why not just go for it?

I just smiled and thought, then got distracted by sparkly things.
