Hello, everyone!

I logged into LS this morning and began reading several threads, including my own. Before I realized it, I had been reading for an hour. I'm going to have to break my back to get my work caught up now. Shame on you all for being so interesting! ;)

Seriously, though... is there an introductory thread around here anywhere? I'd love to know more about any/all of you.

Well, all the regulars seem to know each other's situation after so many posts. And yes this forum is extremely addicting, hense why we are all here!!! However, it is extremely helpful as well, which makes it so intoxicating. What would I do without you guys? :)

There are "welcome new people" threads, with ideas on them. But other than that, just jump in and let it take its course. That's what I did and it was but two days ago, and I feel that I've found people who are willing to respond and lend advice where I found none before:)

It's funny you mention it - when I first registered here, I felt embarrassed and had the "Why on earth do I need to do this?!" type of feeling. Why would a guy register on a forum to talk about dating/love? Yet after I posted my first couple of questions and got some excellent responses, I've really started to enjoy asking my own questions as well as reading other's / answering to the best of my ability. It really gives you a different train of thought to hear so many 3rd-party opinions! I've certainly learned some.

So, it is addicting, in a helpful and productive way!

I think we all eventually get addicted to this place. Alot of people seem to feel the need to have a break because sometimes it does more harm then good. But I haven't found it to be bad at all.

True. It took me a long time just to hit "submit reply" on my first post.

It's definitely addictive but I haven't figured out why.

LS is like walking through a quagmire of pure emotion, drama, vulnerability and heart wrenching stories all stuffed together.

I've done a lot of reading LS it has helped explain things I maybe should have undestood but simply did not.

Unfortunately, I also have much retroactive anger now, as I feel completely changed and see things much more hard lined than I used to. Plus it is nice to see so many people articulating things I thought I was alone in feeling.
