tkgirl Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 I'm sure this has been asked a bunch on here, especially lately with the holidays coming up, but here goes... I met this great guy about a month or so ago... seems to me like we have this strong connection but are still in the getting to know each other phase. We are also very attracted to each other, but have not been "intimate" yet... what I'm trying to say is basically our relationship has not been fully established yet. Anyways! my question is, what if anything should I give him for Christmas? oops, or for the holidays to be PC! The first night we met I was wearing this cute hat that I knit... he complimented me on it and when I told him I knit it myself he said "you knit? that is so sexy!" I know, kinda funny. Then I told him how I like to make beanies, they're fun etc. and that I'd make him one. He was all "really? cool!" So what I thought is that I'd make him one and give it to him for... the holidays! On one hand, it would be practical because we live in the colorado and we both like to go to the mountains to snowboard... plus it would be handmade which shows I put more thought into it. I also was thinking about giving him a dayplanner type thing, because he's always saying how he has a hard time organizing his life... but that would be more as a joke. Didn't mean to make this simple question so long! Just wanted some input on these gift ideas for someone I really like but have only realy "dated" for just over a month. THANKS!

Everyone now has electronic devices - if you thinking of one of those, I'd say you are going to spend too much. A hand knit hat is lovely, and if you can find an inexpensive day planner that's a cute jokey thing too. I would not suggest/recommend spending anymore though.

I know... the dayplanner thing would definitely be "old school" and just be for a joke. Especially because he's such a "techie" kind of guy... his job is in IT afterall! Also, I wouldn't spend that much to get him an electronic one.. but maybe next year! but I'm glad you guys think the beanie is a good idea, I would really like to make him one... going to go to the yarn store today to pick out some nice yarn... probably some browns with blue in it... to match his eyes... sigh! LOL
