girlie908 Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 my ex and i are best friends. we've been broken up since june (my birthday to be exact) but go to school together and have been in the gray since then. we recently just had a fight and i think it's over for good. however before this fight, i bought him an ipod nano for xmas and his bday (which is at the end of december) because he lost his when he came to visit me over the summer and times were good. should i still give it to him? i mean i genuinely want him to have it, and i definitely don't expect anything in return. i want him to have it, i mean i bought it for him. but we aren't on speaking terms right now. the thing is, i'm on two executive boards for my schools' clubs with him, and have the same mutual friends, so it's hard to avoid him. wat should i do? will it be weird if i still give it to him?

You seem to have answered your own question. But yes, it would be weird to give him an expensive present while you're on bad terms.
