blue16 Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 I met this girl online a couple weeks ago. To my surprise, her pictures matched her actual appearance very closely and we had a great time! Things were looking really good. We live pretty far away from each other but we don't have a problem meeting up halfway. The issue is exam period started about a week and a half ago and I really had/have to study for my tests. They are worth a huge portion of my mark and I need to do well on most of them so I unfortunately don't have any time for going out etc. right now. My exams are over in a few days...but that's when HER exams start. We don't have enough time (right now) to hang out...which is fine except for the fact that I'm finding that the 'rush' of first meeting has came and went. It's been 2 weeks since we've hung out, we talk on the phone and on msn sometimes but it's hard to keep things going when we aren't actually seeing each other in person. Fortunately, there is some intention on both our parts to see each other when all the craziness dies down. But it's been a while (and will be a couple more weeks longer) since we last hung out that I'm afraid the magic will have died down and I'll be 'friendzoned'. I do NOT want to get stuck in the friend zone...I have no need for anymore platonic female friends. As the saying goes "strike when the irons hot" well my situation is NOT a good example of this! What should a man do? Ignore her/block her on msn for now? Talk to her every few days in the meantime to keep things going? I'm I hooped?
ImThinkingWTF Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 why in the world would you want to block her? talk to her when you can and when you feel like it. these damn games people play drive me insane. and in my opinion, keeping her interested when you arent going to be able to see her for a few weeks isnt going to happen if you block her.
