Uhriventis Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 I've been about two months with no contact with my ex and I just decided to send her an Email to give her an update about me. At this point I'm no longer concerned about getting her back or what not. If it happens it happens. Thus, to worry about emailing her and pushing her farther away from me is the least of my worries. Well, she responded with, "I'm sorry but, I'm not ready to hear from you or see you yet." Uhh, what's that mean?
polywog Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 I think that it is clear, that she is not ready for contact. It was direct and to the point.
jerbear Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 Means your ex is not ready to handle the breakup. Means they want to heal and move on. they don't want an ex to remind them of what has been or what was. Just let her be and you have to find a way to move on.

If you are not concerned with getting a response, why think to email her with your current status? Maybe it's just me, but i normally would not email an EX, unless i had some desire to get a response from them. (maybe i am strange). I think her response is pretty clear, she is not ready, please dont try to read more into it than what there is, (i think you might be doing this because what she has wrote is pretty straight to the point). I dont want to sound horrible but, sometimes people do say what they mean, whether we like it or not.
