love4ever Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 I love the smooth look. But at the same time I wouldn't expect a guy to shave his off or anything...think that would make it prickly. Luckily all my guy have been smooth. Except this one guy that was really werid...he wasn't all over hairy, instead he had patches of hair randomly on his body....weirdest freakin' think I've ever seen.
burning 4 revenge Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 KMT I am going to take a stab in the dark and guess you're either Spanish or Italian
SidCaesar Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 Men have hair...girly manboys and shaved monkeys, however, do not.
Citizen Erased Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 Men have hair...girly manboys and shaved monkeys, however, do not. But I do love the girly man-boys Brandon Flowers Ville Valo Matt Bellamy
RecordProducer Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 Ariadne that’s sweet that you like everything about a man if you’ve fallen for him but I wanted you to try and look at it objectively. I agree that Ariadne started a new subject: would you tolerate hair if you liked the man? But I think it's really a matter of attraction to a particular person; whatever they bring, the woman actually LIKES it. I prefer no hair on the chest and back, but I do like hair on the arms and legs. So I'd say shave or trim (not wax, that's too girly) your chest. Curmudgeon you have a healthy attitude toward the situation but the truth is most women are very into things such as the way you groom yourself, the haircut you chose the clothes you wear how you take care of your facial/chest hair. Curm has a mature attitude altogether. When you have a sexy mind and years of life experience behind you, you don't need to wax your hair. He is the kind of man who wouldn't mind my stretch marks or cellulite. I would be perfect in his eyes. And that's why he would be perfect in my eyes. You spring chickens can't compare to him. Invest in your looks as much as you expect your girl to invest in her looks for you.
Author Green Posted December 11, 2007 Author Posted December 11, 2007 loves dog glad you like the pattern it grew in

White Flower Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 I like my men waxed. Mostly because I wax and want my baby to do the same for me. Nothing wrong with hair, but I can do a better job on a clean canvas..... Lol, I love your posts! I'll use the clean canvas line next time I want someone to shave...or wax.

I noticed that men usually accept themselves as they are and expect women to do the same with them while women always want to change themselves for men. I love it when a man accepts a woman without all the surgeries. And the OP should do what feels right for him.

Are the men really responsible for making the women feel they need to change? Or do the women (and the media) do it to themselves? Anyway, back to the original topic. KMT - I agree with WF, above. Glad you are content with yourself. You'll find a woman who appreciates you and your chest hair.
sumdude Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 I noticed that men usually accept themselves as they are and expect women to do the same with them while women always want to change themselves for men. I love it when a man accepts a woman without all the surgeries. And the OP should do what feels right for him. It's becoming a lot more common for men to do things like hair removal etc. We also worry about how we look, I think we're just quieter about our self image issues. I lost 60 lbs this year and it feels good. Somewhere along the line I stopped taking care of myself. It wasn't healthy, attractive or comfortable. One year for the beach I did the Nair thing on my back... it felt really strange. My shirts kept sticking to the bare skin, especially in summer heat with a bit oif sweat. It was kinda uncomfortable and hard to get used to so I decided to forego that again so far. If hair on my back is a dealbreaker for someone then they're free to find another. I do trim a little down south, just clip it shorter and I appreciate when a woman does too. If I wanted to floss I'd go to the medicine cabinet.
Author Green Posted December 12, 2007 Author Posted December 12, 2007 good point samdude I havnt had shirts stick to me since I hit puberty, life is alot more comfortable with hair
Jilly Bean Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 Love a hairy dude! Its masculine and virile. Guys who shave down make me feel like Im screwing a boy. Keep the hair!
Author Green Posted December 12, 2007 Author Posted December 12, 2007 Ive heard women say the verile thing before who knows where that comes from. I bet its true in my case
WIGIRL Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 A moderate amount is always fine in my book. If you are a guy and wondering if you're over the moderate amount, then you're probably right. I like the chest vest approach. Look at yourself in a mirror from across the room without a shirt on. If you still appear to be clothed, or wearing a vest, it is too much. If I can tell you're naked when I walk in the door, then game on.
Author Green Posted December 12, 2007 Author Posted December 12, 2007 what ever whirl girl Im hairy as hell and Id still get u
underpants Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 what ever whirl girl Im hairy as hell and Id still get u How do you feel about hair on a woman?
Racquel Colette Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 Honestly I don't have a preference. It doesn't factor in to the equation with someone I'm dating. Sort of like blond, redhead, or brown hair on a guy, it doesn't factor in, just overall attractiveness (if I feel the chemistry).
Author Green Posted December 12, 2007 Author Posted December 12, 2007 hairless is best but, italian girls can be pretty hairy and they are super hot
Star Gazer Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 I loooovvvvve a hairy chest. BF shaves and/or waxes his, but recently let it grow out just so I could enjoy it...ahhhhh!! But then he shaved it again when he said it got too itchy. I do NOT like a hairy back, shoulders, neck, or upper arms.

I think these personality traits are programmed into our genes; however, society does push it as far as it can, especially the advertising agencies and media because it drives our economy. Sumdude, love the flossing reference!
Racquel Colette Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 Wow, you weren't lying, KMT, you are a hot looking guy.
