ShoeGirl Posted December 7, 2007 Posted December 7, 2007 My doctor put me on ortho-tricycline over 5 years ago to help control my break outs, in the past few months I have been breaking out more often and worse than normal. I have also been having more painful cramps than I used to, so I have an appointment in a few weeks to see my doctor and possibly change which pill I am on. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions of which pills I should look into? I have been researching some of them but I personally know anyone who is on anything other than ortho-tricycline. Does anyone take yaz?
whichwayisup Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 I was on cycline for a while when I was in my mid 20's until I was about 31, or 32. Ask your Dr about it. You obviously aren't reacting well to this Pill, so get off of it soon. Make an appt with your Dr and tell him/her what's going on so they can switch you. Make sure to explain the cramps, just incase it's not something else, like a cyst.

I am asking here because she usually asks if I have researched anything no matter what I am seeing her for since she knows I am going into medicine. I have been looking into different pills but I was curious to see if anyone had any opinions on any of them. I did a search for cycline and all that came up was the pill that I am on now, but thanks for the suggestion I will keep looking for more info
