Okay, I'm an 18 year old freshmen going to a community college. I just recently got out of a 3-4 month long relationship.

In one of my classes I sit behind a girl that I have become attracted to. At first I really wasn't interested, because I was seeing someone else, but I have over the last couple weeks started to really dig this girl.

It was a late start college class - we meet once a week and we have only met about 7 times in total.

Over the last couple weeks I have started to pick up conversation with her, before we would just do very small talk about how much they class sucked, etc.

This girl had been very shy like she was intimidated by me. I have gotten some good EC from her and a few IOI's.. (I'm pretty sure her pupils dilated)

Anyways, last week I teased her a little bit about me finishing a test before her, and a few other things, but she seemed very shy still.

Yesterday, I walked into class, sat down she came in a little behind me and just started talking and was really OUTGOING. This caught me totally off guard.. So, I started talking to her more asking her questions and she started to come out of her shell. The class is small about 30 people and it is a lecture type so we can't really carry a conversation for a long time.

But towards the very end of the class someone in the class asked me why I had missed a prior class a few weeks ago - I explained & this girl randomly tells me she missed a class, because someone died in her family (I don't even remember what she said? I think an uncle?) I took this as a good sign. She was very shy before, and now is telling me about how a relative died? WTF? Who does that?

What do you guys think? Do you think she is interested?

I'm thinking about direct closing this **** next week if the opportunity prevents itself. There is only a few classes left - so I'm not going to mess around with this girl anymore.

The only real way you can tell if a woman likes you or not is to get her number and set up a date. IOIs and EC is wonderful for those who need some form of hope of avoiding rejection. If you disregard what she thinks of you, don't care if you get rejected (hey, you won't see her again after the class is over) so why the hell not go for it?

I've never bothered with IOIs or EC, I just assume attraction unless I'm proven false. More times than not, she is attracted.

So, go ahead and number close, then set up a date. If she's not interested, she'll let you know.
