Magnatolia Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 Hey all, A female friend who has gotten very close to me (all her doing, she phones me lots, etc) has suddenly started asking me to do things for her. Well actually hinting like she'll email me and hint that she needs a sugar hit. Or if we wander around the shops she'll get me to carry her shopping. She doesn't do it all the time, did it twice this week. Just wondering what that means.
mindsurfer Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 I have experienced something quite similar. I have a close female friend who actually initiated our friendship. During the initial period of our friendship, she used to do the same. She used to regularly call me, text me and ask me to hang out with her. I used to go shopping with her and even she used to ask me to carry her bags. What this means? Prolly a girl would be able to answer this better. But, I think she likes you and loves spending time with you. But if her love towards you is platonic or romantic is hard to tell. If she is seeing someone else and is quite serious about that relationship, then she sees you as a buddy. If not, she might be interesed in being romantically involved with you but wants to friends first so that she gets to know you better.
Author Magnatolia Posted December 8, 2007 Author Posted December 8, 2007 Yeah you're probably right. I was waiting for a woman to respond but none did. So thanks for your reply.

Some chicks take serious advantage of men they know like them but have no real feelings to give back.
phyrespryte Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 I'm a woman and for some reason, I find the bag holding part um... emasculating. If you're interested in her, I suggest you stop with all this girlfriend activity and make a move. Take her somewhere where you won't have to carry her junk.
Touche Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 Why do people over analyze everything? Maybe they just needed someone to carry their shopping bags. I wouldn't look any deeper into it.
