shajoe44 Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 I was talking to someone today and they were telling me that her husband has a program on his desktop computer that allows him to view what is on her laptop computer. Is there such a program and how does it work? I am familiar with file sharing and such, but I think she was talking about reading emails and such.
Numerouno Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 Hmmm, this guy doesn't happen to live in Oceania does he? I think you're talking about remote desktop software (e.g. part of Windows XP Pro.) Although there is other software available such as "pcanywhere" and "gotomypc". How does it work? Basically one computer (his computer) can control the other (her computer.)
Leia Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 Is it 'keylogger'? That could be it. I know my previous employer had that in all computers used by employees.
AHIWON Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 Yes it's called networking and has been around since pc's came of age. It isn't new but it is cool!
