loveinlife Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 My gf has been pulling away and isn't picking up my phone calls, just a little worried that our relationship is falling apart. We have been going out for 1.5 months and lately she's been hanging out with her friend instead of me. i feel unappreciated.. tonight she didn't answer my call, last night, she went out with her girl friend and two guys. since then i haven't heard from her.. please advise. thanks =)

I guess it would help to have some more details, but I know I've been there. My boyfriend and I have been together for almost a year and a half now, and there have been several times (from both sides) that we've sort of blew eachother off because we needed a little space. And it's something that usually brings us closer the next time we see eachother. You guys also may have just reached that point where the excitement of the new relationship is kind of at a stand still and she's kind of going about her everyday life as she did before you. There also is that slight chance that she may be questioning your relationship. Sometimes us girls are terrible at confrontation. Just give her some space I suppose, don't come on too strong or obsessive by calling too often and I guess the best thing to do would be to ask her what's up the next time you talk to her. I've always been very into being straightforward. Good luck!

I called her 5 times and left her a message saying that im worried about her. at this point, whats the best thing to do, give her space?
MrMichael Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 yeah, give her space...I went down this road in August, I called and called for 3 days...I went nuts wondering what was up// i eventuallly got an answer and it was not the answer i wanted, i got dumped bro, but thats MY sitch....hopefully she just wants a break....just put yourself in the "dont care if she calls or not" mindset and eventually she will call YOU...the more you call, the more she is gona know you care and that enables her to go party... at 1.5 month its hard to know what shes thinking..did you two get into an argument at all?

Yeah we sorta did, it was about trust with her last night. The insecurity from me came from so many guys calling her and im just wondering why does she do that even tho she has me? At the same time she still talks to them.

She left her cell phone in her friends car and didn't get it until this morning. That explains why she didn't call. I guess sometimes i need to trust her more and shouldn't jump into conclusions. I can't even begin to count the number of times of worried over something when my bf has just left his phone somewhere, or was sleeping, working, out with family, etc. Take it easy!
