jagededge Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 So there is this girl at school I have seen walking around etc. Every now and then I smile at her and she will kinda look but pretend she saw nothing. Before that, she would check me out and I would do the same right back at her. I eventually got the nerve to talk to her while we were on the same elevator in the parking garage. All I said was "what floor are you on" she replied and I hit the button. Before I could say anything else my floor came and I got off. Ya, not much said there lol. So the next day I make sure the same thing happens. This time while on the elevator jokingly ask if she was on the same floor. Then I asked how her day went and what class she was just in. No sooner my floor comes and I get off, only this time I say "have a nice day" and get off. (there is no more than 15 seconds from when we are on the elevator to the time my floor comes.) I figured this was progress until two days later. I was walking to the elevator on my phone, not paying attention to was around me. Then out of nowhere she walks right in front of me and goes up the steps. This is weird because she always takes the elevator. I figured she went up the steps to avoid me. I don't know why she would, unless she just knows where this could go and doesn't like me or....idk. I didn't really hit on her in the elevator or nothing, it was just small talk. Unfortunately I have very small time frame to say much of anything. I just feel she did what she did because of me for what reason idk. Because of this idk if I should pursue her or just forget about it. All opinions on the situation appreciated. thanks.
MrMichael Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 hmmm, maybe you both like each other, you mentioned she "pretended" to not see you at school...being that you are hip to that, why dont you take it to the next level? you wanna know if she likes you, ask her out.... Your really have nothing to lose, the stairs thing...well, who knows there,you never mentioned if she responded to your questions in the elevator... Good luck dude, I say go for it, at least then you will know.
Author jagededge Posted December 3, 2007 Author Posted December 3, 2007 Her answers in the elevator were simple. I asked the question she gave me an answer, she seemed relaxed. Didn't seem tense or nervous. Thats why I'm confused over the whole stairs thing.
Krytie TV Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 I think this is a classic case of overanalyzing. Maybe she took the stairs because she was only one or two levels up. You mention always getting off before her, so in those cases she was a few levels up and maybe the elevator made more sense. Some people feel strongly about using stairs when possible... good for the heart dontcha know...
