mopar crazy Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Has anyone did this w/ success and no complications? I just don't see how anyone could get a D using an online divorce site, especially for so cheap.
Author mopar crazy Posted December 2, 2007 Author Posted December 2, 2007 What brought this to your attention? I'm sick of his *****. Sick of the anger issues he has. He has sought IC for it, was on anti-depressants for a few months year ago but quit. His pride took over, didn't think he needed the help but yet he continues to get pissed off at the littlest, stupidest things. I'm done. I tried. I can't do it anymore.
whichwayisup Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Sorry to hear that MP. Maybe a separation would be easier right now than actually divorcing, maybe by doing that, showing him in action that you're sick of his crap, he'll do more to better himself, let alone put more effort into the marriage. Don't do it online, just have a bad feeling about it.

That is why I thought maybe the M could survive. But now, four years later I don't think it can. I admit, I'm not perfect, I get angry to and yell but not over stupid crap. What he gets pissed about it just stupid. If the kids do something wrong instead of being calm about it he yells at them. All he does is yell. His parenting skills SUCK! I don't know why he is such an angry person. His mom said he wasn't that way when he was growing up. Hell, he even yells at her when she says something he doesn't agree w/. He has NO respect for women, none! The reason why I asked about online D is b/c it's so damn expensive. We shelled out $2,500 the first time when the dumb **** wanted a D to screw some skank from work.

It's the same thing as having a paralegal do it for you. You'd be on your own for any court appearances, mediation, expert witnesses if needed, etc. An online service may also develop the settlement agreement/QDRO but the negotiations would be all up to you.

Ok, so it probably wouldn't be such a great idea to use online services then. Maybe I just need to check into finding a lawyer locally then. Sucks their retainer fees are so expensive!
